Sony Ericsson W380 – the tri-band walkman clamshell cell phone
Sony Ericsson W380 is one of the few clamshell form factor devices that SOny Ericsson currently produces. The Sony Ericsson W380 is a tri-band, Walkman clamshell-style phone featuring the new Gesture control functionality providing quick and easy control of the phone without having to touch it – mute a call or snooze the alarm by sweeping a hand across the camera. Easy-touch music controls and current track information on the outside. Then flip this sleek clamshell Walkman phone open and let the inside inspire you.
The exterior contains a hidden Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) external display that illuminates to show music track, call or message information. The W380 reacts to the touch of your fingertips. Music buttons on the outside of your phone let you play, pause and skip tracks. And when you want to listen to radio, just tune in. At first glance, the Sony Ericsson W380 looks a bit dull. It’s a “Walkman” branded GSM clamshell phone with a 1.3 megapixel camera and a 176×220 pixel display.
