Sony Ericsson launched C3607w mobile broadband module
C3607w module was launched at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF). Module emphasizes the progress of collaboration with Intel, Ericsson announced last year and brought HSPA mobile data solutions to Intel’s platform “Moorestown” based MIDS.
Although compatible with various platforms, this CE module shows progress toward goals in Ericsson and Intel to jointly bring computing and telecommunications industries and extends the mobile broadband ecosystem of consumer electronics devices.
C3607w a mobile broadband module the smallest, lightweight and fast to the present, and able to walk with a speed of 5.75 Mbps with lower power consumption by 40 percent compared with the previous modules.
Equipped with features wake-on-Ericsson that enables wireless wake-up command from the sleep mode, this CE module also makes sets of security applications and new messages.
Ericsson launches new mobile broadband modules designed specifically to provide high-speed wireless connectivity for consumer electronics devices (Consumer Electronics – CE) a new generation.
This CE module can be implemented for the e-book readers, GPS navigators, and portable consumer electronic devices more popular. Module has the potential to be integrated into the media player, durable goods and more, as mobile broadband has become part of everyday life.
Module C3607w consumer electronic devices will be available on Ericsson
the first quarter of 2010.
