Sony Ericsson Cyber Shot C901 Review

Sony Ericsson C901 is a sleekly designed phone that will hit the markets in three colors- Noble Black, Sincere Silver and Precious Peach. Its vital statistics is 105mmX45mmX13mm. It is light weight at 107 grams. The phone has a TFT screen measuring 2.2 inches. The cyber shot c901 screen is scratch resistant. The screen’s 320X240 pixel resolution and support for 262.144 colors help provide clear vibrantly colored images to enhance viewing experience.

Sony Ericsson C901 is just another 5-megapixel cameraphone. Well, that’s not terribly exciting in the current market bustling with 8-megapixel snappers, and probing the boundaries at 12. But you’d be wrong. Be it for the simple reason that the C901 is one of the few handsets out there sporting a Xenon flash. And the one on the C901 is special enough to help it stand above the crowd of cameraphones.

The Sony Ericsson C901 is part of the Cybershot range of phones made by Sony Ericsson. It was announced in February 2009 and a subsequent Sony Ericsson C901 Greenheart model was announced in three months later in May 2009 for certain markets.

The Greenheart phone is roughly the same phone, except that Sony Ericsson has claimed the use of reduced packaging materials, recycled plastics, optimized display light and waterborne paint in order to reduce the lifetime CO2 footprint of the device by 15%.
